Gates Brown drove in four runs with a triple and homer to lead the Tigers to a 7-5 victory over the Twins. Brown's triple followed a walk to Jim Northrup in the fifth inning. The Tigers then erupted for five runs in the sixth. Northrup singled with the bases loaded to plate two runs and Brown accounted for three others with his homer. [The Sporting News]
