Boog Powell marked his 30th birthday by hitting a two-run homer in the eighth inning and Elrod Hendricks followed with a circuit clout in the ninth to carry the Orioles to a 3-2 victory over the Brewers. Powell had been hitless in 14 times at bat against the Brewers this season before he smashed his homer following a safe bunt by Paul Blair. [The Sporting News]
