. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Swinging away at his former teammates, Don Mincher drove in four runs with a homer and single to lead the Senators to an 8-1 victory over the Athletics. Mincher hit his homer with a man on base in the first inning and batted in his two other runs with a single in the sixth. In between, Mincher was aboard with a walk when Frank Howard homered in the fifth. [The Sporting News]
