Pete Rose's 10th homer of the season and 100th of his major league career broke a 3-3 tie in the fourth inning and sent the Reds on their way to a 6-3 victory over the Pirates. Gary Nolan was on base with a single when Rose connected against Nelson Briles. [The Sporting News]
