While Juan Pizarro pitched a five-hitter, Ron Santo and Cleo James took care of the Cubs' batting to beat the Reds, 6-3. Santo knocked in two runs with a double in the first inning and added another with a single that scored James in the third. James homered with a man on base in the sixth and Santo counted the last run after hitting his second double of the game in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
