Led by Tom Haller, who batted in three runs with a sacrifice fly and homer, the Dodgers defeated the Expos, 4-1. Dick Allen doubled and Willie Crawford singled ahead of Haller's sacrifice fly in the second inning.

Crawford was on base via a walk when Haller homered in the fourth. The Dodgers added their last run in the sixth on singles by Crawford and Wes Parker, a walk to Haller and sacrifice fly by Bill Russell. [The Sporting News]
