Dave  May hit a two-run homer in the ninth inning for the deciding blow as the Brewers outlasted the Indians, 10-8. After May's smash provided the Brewers with a 10-6 lead, the Indians rallied for two runs in their half on a bases-loaded single by Graig Nettles with one away, but Ken Sanders retired the next two batters to save the game.
