Harmon Killebrew clouted two homers and drove in five of the Twins' runs in an 8-4 victory over the Indians. Bert Blyleven, who started for the Twins, gave up five hits and three runs in the first inning but then settled down to pitch his 12th complete game.

The Twins, after picking up a run in the fourth, went ahead to stay when Rod Carew walked, Tony Oliva singled and Killebrew homered in the fifth. Killer's other smash followed in the seventh with Carew on base via a single. [The Sporting News]
