Their two other tallies were registered against Tony Cloninger in the ninth on a single by Don Mason, pass to Colbert and double by Ollie Brown. These proved decisive when the Reds scored in their half on a double by Hal McRae, wild throw by Garry Jestadt on a two-out grounder by Johnny Bench and single by George Foster. [The Sporting News]
