Climaxing the Dodgers' four-run rally in the ninth inning, Manny Mota tripled with the bases loaded to beat the Reds, 6-5. Walks to Jim Lefebvre and Bill Sudakis started the Dodgers' comeback before Joe Gibbon replaced Clay Carroll. Bobby Valentine singled to load the bases.
