With two out in the 11th inning, successive singles by Rusty Staub, Bobby Wine and Bob Bailey gave the Expos a 3-2 victory over the Pirates. Gary Sutherland drove in two runs with a bases-loaded single in the eighth to put the Expos ahead, 2-1, but Al Oliver tied the score with a homer in the ninth. Sutherland's hit came off Bob Miller, who relieved Bob Johnson after Ron Fairly singled, Bailey walked and Jim Fairey singled. [The Sporting News]
