Two triples and a single by Mark Belanger and a homer by Frank Robinson escorted Mike Cuellar to his 18th victory as the Orioles defeated the Senators, 7-1. Belanger drove in a run with his first triple of the game and scored himself when the Orioles stepped off to a 3-0 lead in the first inning.

Robinson homered in the third. Belanger crossed the plate after a triple in the fifth and scored for the third time after hitting a single in the eighth. [The Sporting News]
