A homer by Reggie Jackson following an infield hit by Rick Monday in the 10th inning lifted the Athletics to a 5-3 victory over the Twins. The A's, after using a walk, singles by Angel Mangual and Dick Green and an error for two runs in the second, added another tally in the third when Monday tripled and Jackson singled.
