Fergie Jenkins, who was seeking his 22nd victory but drew his 13th defeat, hit for the circuit with a man on base in the fourth to put himself ahead, but Al Oliver tied the score with a homer in the sixth and what proved to be the winning run followed on a triple by Richie Hebner and a passed ball.
