Although committing five errors, the Red Sox were able to defeat the Senators, 10-7, with the aid of three homers during a five-run explosion in the sixth inning. Juan Beniquez led off the big frame with a single and, after one out, Reggie Smith and Rico Petrocelli homered on successive pitches.
