While Mike Cuellar pitched a four-hitter, the Orioles piled up 18 hits, their season high, and defeated the Tigers, 8-1, to apply the brakes to the Motor City crew's seven-game winning streak. Frank Robinson drove in three runs with a pair of singles and Brooks Robinson contributed a homer to the Orioles' attack.
