. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Batting 1-2 in the Senators' order, Del Unser and Dave Nelson scored seven times between them in a 9-1 victory over the Indians. Unser, who scored three runs, hit a double and two singles.

Nelson, who counted after reaching base on a walk, single and double, capped his scoring with a fourth run on a homer in the sixth inning. Graig Nettles hit a homer in the seventh to account for the Indians' run off Dick Bosman. [The Sporting News]
