Dave McNally pitched a four-hitter and also drove in a run with a double as the Orioles defeated the Yankees, 4-0. Fritz Peterson matched ciphers with McNally until the seventh inning when the Orioles erupted for three runs.

Paul Blair singled and counted the first tally when Brooks Robinson doubled. Robinson was out at third on a grounder by Mark Belanger, but McNally then doubled to drive in Belanger before scoring himself on a single by Don Buford. [The Sporting News]
