. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A homer by Jim Lefebvre in the seventh inning enabled Bill Singer to pitch the Dodgers to a 1-0 victory over the Padres in a duel with Fred Norman. The victory was the sixth straight for the Dodgers and their seventh of the season against one loss in the best start in the club's Los Angeles history. [The Sporting News]
