Gaylord Perry doubled to spark the Indians' scoring and pitched a seven-hitter to defeat the Orioles, 2-1. Perry led off the third inning with his two-bagger and crossed the plate when Mike Cuellar threw wildly to first on a bunt by Del Unser.
