After hitting a homer to tie the score in the ninth inning, Greg Luzinski tripled in the 11th and crossed the plate on a single by pinch-hitter Tommy Hutton to give the Phillies a 5-4 victory over the Pirates. Luzinski also had a double to his credit, hitting it in the second inning and scoring on a single by Denny Doyle. Deron Johnson accounted for the Phillies' two other runs with a homer in the sixth.
