The White Sox extended their winning streak to seven games when Dick Allen hit a homer with a man on base in the 10th inning to defeat the Indians, 7-5. The White Sox were losing, 4-0, until Mike Andrews smashed a grand-slam to tie the score in the seventh inning. After the White Sox went ahead with an unearned run in the eighth, the Indians pulled even in the ninth on a double by Alex Johnson and single by John Lowenstein. [The Sporting News]
