Making his first start of the season, Lew Krausse yielded only two hits before going out for a pinch-batter in the 10th inning when the Red Sox used three doubles to defeat the Rangers, 3-0. With one out in the 10th, Carlton Fisk doubled. Bob Burda, batting for Krausse, was passed intentionally.
