After giving up a two-run homer by Leron Lee in the first inning, Don Wilson bore down and pitched the Astros to a 4-2 victory over the Padres. Lee May tied the score with a two-run homer in the fourth. A double by Johnny Edwards, single by Bob Watson, sacrifice fly by Doug Rader and single by Tommy Helms added the winning margin in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
