Bobby Darwin, who singled to spark the scoring of two runs in the fourth inning, rapped a double in the sixth to break a tie and give the Twins a 3-2 victory over the Orioles, After Darwin's hit in the fourth, Steve Brye also singled and Eric Soderholm drove in both runners with a double.

Harmon Killebrew singled in the sixth, took second on a wild throw by Davey Johnson and crossed the plate on Darwin's double. Brooks Robinson hit his first homer of the season for the Orioles. [The Sporting News]
