Erupting for five runs in the seventh inning, the Angels defeated the Red Sox, 7-3. Homers by Carlton Fisk and Tommy Harper helped the Red Sox take a 3-2 lead before the Angels opened the seventh with the tying tally on singles by Leo Cardenas, Sandy Alomar and Ken Berry.
