. . . where the 1970s live forever!

After being held scoreless on three hits over the first seven innings, the Indians broke loose in the eighth to defeat the Twins, 4-1. Del Unser, batting for Milt Wilcox, sparked the uprising with a safe bunt and, after a sacrifice, crossed the plate on a double by Jack Brohamer to tie the score at 1-1.

Following a walk to Alex Johnson, Graig Nettles singled to drive in Brohamer. Johnson went to third on the hit and Nettles took second when Cesar Tovar fumbled the ball. Both scored on a single by Buddy Bell. [The Sporting News]
