Cesar Cedeno, who drove in a run with a triple in the third inning, knocked in two more with a homer in the seventh to enable the Astros to defeat the Mets, 4-2. The Mets took a 2-1 lead with the aid of a homer by Duffy Dyer, but Doug Rader doubled in the seventh and scored the tying run on a single by Tommy Helms before Cedeno clouted his homer.
