Mike Cuellar clinched his own decision with a two-run homer while pitching the Orioles to a 5-1 victory over the Athletics. After the Orioles counted twice in the first inning, Davey Johnson walked in the second and Cuellar connected for the circuit. Sal Bando homered to account for the A's lone run.
