A two-out single by Don Kessinger scored Ron Santo in the 11th inning and gave the Cubs a 5-4 victory over the Dodgers. Homers by Frank Robinson and Billy Grabarkewitz, each with a man on base, accounted for the Dodgers' runs. Randy Hundley hit a two-run homer for the Cubs.

In the 11th, Santo singled with one out and Hundley walked. Paul Popovich popped up, but Kessinger came through with his single to end the game. [The Sporting News]
