Backed by two homers and a triple, Gaylord Perry pitched the Indians to a 4-2 victory over the Twins. A homer by Ray Fosse, triple by Frank Duffy and sacrifice fly by Del Unser gave the Indians two runs in the second inning and their decisive pair followed in the eighth when Chris Chambliss walked and Graig Nettles hit for the circuit.
