A two-run single by Bob Bailey, triple by Carl Morton and homers by Ron Woods and Ron Fairly paced the Expos to a 7-3 victory over the Dodgers. After hitting his single in the second inning, Bailey scored on Morton's triple.

Woods homered in the third and Fairly followed suit in the fourth. Morton gave up a two-run homer by Willie Davis in the sixth and a solo swat by Duke Sims in the seventh before Mike Marshall took over in relief. [The Sporting News]
