Mike Cuellar and Elrod Hendricks, who worked together as the Orioles' winning battery, also combined for a run in the eighth inning to beat the White Sox, 2-1. Hendricks, batting only .111, doubled with two out and scored on a single by Cuellar, who was hitting a meager .061.
