Breaking up a four-hour, eight-minute game, Sandy Alomar drove in a run with a single in the 16th inning to give the Angels a 4-3 victory over the Red Sox. Alomar's hit scored Syd O'Brien, who singled and took second on a sacrifice by Leo Cardenas.
