Nate Colbert drove in five runs, including the last two with a homer in the ninth inning, to lead the Padres to an 8-5 victory over the Phillies. Leron Lee hit a single, double and triple to stand right behind Colbert in the Padres' attack.

The Phillies rallied for four runs in the eighth to tie the score at 5-5, but Derrel Thomas walked in the ninth, Dave Roberts sacrificed and Lee singled to break the tie. Colbert followed with his homer to clinch the victory. [The Sporting News]
