Led by Amos Otis and Richie Scheinblum, who batted in nine runs between them, the Royals defeated the Indians in a doubleheader, 6-4 and 8-5. Otis hit a homer, double and two singles in the first game to produce four runs and homered again in the second game for his fifth RBI of the day.
