Bobby Darwin hit a grand-slam homer in the first inning and the Twins added four more runs in the second to defeat the Brewers, 8-1. Danny Thompson and Rod Carew singled and Harmon Killebrew walked before Darwin connected off Earl Stephenson for the first grand slam of his major league career.
