Bobby Darwin hit a grand-slam homer in the first inning and the Twins added four more runs in the second to defeat the Brewers, 8-1. Danny Thompson and Rod Carew singled and Harmon Killebrew walked before Darwin connected off Earl Stephenson for the first grand slam of his major league career. Darwin also walked with the bases loaded in the second to pick up another RBI. [The Sporting News]
