Homers by Dick Allen, Rick Reichardt and Ed Spiezio carried the White Sox to a 4-3 victory over the Indians. Allen connected for the circuit in the fourth inning.

With the Indians leading, 3-1, Carlos May singled in the seventh and Reichardt tied the score with his boundary belt. Spiezio followed with his first homer of the season to provide the winning run. Ray Fosse hit a two-run homer for the Indians. [The Sporting News]
