Johnny Briggs belted two homers, one of them with the bases loaded, and drove in six runs to power the Brewers to a 7-3 victory over the Angels. In the third inning, two walks around a single by Joe Lahoud set the stage for Briggs' slam off Nolan Ryan. Ron Clark added a run with a round-tripper in the sixth and singled ahead of Briggs' second homer of the game in the eighth. [The Sporting News]
