Two unearned runs resulting from an error by Eric Soderholm enabled the Brewers to defeat the Twins. 2-1. The Twins scored their run in the first inning on singles by Cesar Tovar, Harmon Killebrew and Soderholm.

Ron Theobald singled for the Brewers in the fourth and scored from first base when Soderholm threw wildly on a bunt by Brock Davis. After the next two batters went out, Joe Lahoud doubled to drive in Davis. [The Sporting News]
