Joe Morgan and Bobby Tolan batted in seven runs between them to lead the Reds to an 11-5 victory over the Pirates. Morgan accounted for four RBIs with two homers and a pass with the bases loaded, while Tolan added three with an infield out and single. The Reds broke a 4-4 tie and went ahead to stay in the seventh inning when Morgan drew his pass with the sacks filled and Tolan hit a grounder to add an insurance run. [The Sporting News]
