Two homers by Ken Singleton, plus a pair of unearned runs, enabled the Expos to defeat the Braves, 4-3. Singleton rapped his solo swats in the fourth and seventh innings. In between, in the fifth, Bob Bailey and Hector Torres singled and both runners moved up an extra base on a throwing error by Rico Carty. With two out, Marty Perez booted a grounder by Tim Foli, allowing Bailey and Torres to score.
