Claude Osteen pitched a three-hitter and Steve Garvey drove in three runs with a homer and single as the Dodgers defeated the Astros, 4-0. Garvey's single accounted for two of the Dodgers' three runs off Jerry Reuss in the first inning and his homer off Jim Ray wrapped up the scoring in the eighth. [The Sporting News]
