The Orioles caught up in the seventh when Rich Coggins, batting for McNally, singled, advanced on an infield out by Don Buford and scored on a double by Paul Blair. Pat Dobson, making his first appearance in relief this season, was tagged for the Brewers' winning run in their half of the seventh.
