Pinch-hitting, Buddy Bradford came through with a grand-slam homer in the eighth inning to lift the White Sox to a 6-4 victory over the Twins. The White Sox were trailing, 4-2, with two out when Jorge Orta walked and Jim Lyttle doubled to kayo Dick Woodson. Dave LaRoche, in relief, walked Tony Muser to load the bases and then was the victim of Bradford's wallop. [The Sporting News]
