Johnny Jeter hit a two-run homer to give the Padres a 4-3 lead in the eighth, but in the Giants' half Gary Matthews and Bernie Williams drew passes from Fred Norman and, after Ed Acosta relieved, Bobby Bonds hit the winning homer.
