. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Danny Walton, pinch-hitting for designated hitter Tony Oliva, came through with a grand-slam homer in the seventh inning to trigger an eight-run explosion that propelled the Twins to a 10-5 victory over the Angels. With southpaw Steve Barber on the mound for the Angels, manager Frank Quilici played the percentages, sending righthanded-hitting Walton to the plate in place of lefthanded-hitting Oliva.
