A Teen Night crowd of 42,035, the largest turnout in Cincinnati for any game in April or May except for opening day, watched the Reds defeat the Braves, 4-2. Pete Rose led the Reds at bat, hitting a single and scoring on a wild pitch in the first inning and driving in two runs with a triple in the second.
