Four homers, including two by designated hitter Orlando Cepeda, who drove in four runs, helped the Red Sox snap their six-game losing streak with an 11-5 victory over the Indians. Cepeda hit his first homer with two aboard in the first inning when the Red Sox scored five runs. Cepeda and Rico Petrocelli homered in succession in the seventh and Tommy Harper hit for the circuit with a man on base in the eighth. Rusty Torres and Oscar Gamble rapped round-trippers for the Indians.
