Although tagged for three homers, Ross Grimsley pitched the Reds past the Braves, 6-3, for his third straight victory. Dave Concepcion provided the chief support for Grimsley, batting in four runs -- one with an infield grounder in the second inning, another with a homer in the fourth and two with a double in the fifth. Hank Aaron was out of the Braves' lineup because of an ailing back, but Johnny Oates, Dusty Baker and Darrell Evans swung home run bats in his place. [The Sporting News]
